Works
Exploring form, colour and material are recurrent aspects of Herman’s work: he liked to alternate between drawing, painting and merging in collages on rough surfaces like handmade paper in order to expand his imagination. His late work is marked by a striking weightlessness ; it floats, touches down and then moves on while provoking the mind’s eye.
